Ti connect is either un-installed or missing. please re-inst

Hi, I need some help with my ti notefolio software. When I try to start notefolio I get the error message:
"ti connect is either un-installed or missing. please re-install ti connect and try again."
I've tried to re-install both notfolio and ti connect but it doesn't work. I saw that others on this page have (or had) the same problem, but I don't know how they solved it because my french is poor so I don't understand very much.

Can somebody please help me in english. It would be very kind.

It's ok, my english ain't that good either.

The solution :

1- Desinstall Notefolio with add/delete programs in Windows.
2- From the install CD, run setup.
3- Choose your language, the version of your TI and valid.
4- In the menu on the left, go on the 4th choice "softwares for computers".
5- In the first menu, choose Notefolio.
6- Click on "Logiciel NoteFolio™ Creator for Windows"
7- Download the file in the part of your disk you want and run the file, the installation is processing...
8- Note folio works !

Hi, mic, thanks for the translation!

I've run the installation directly from the cd, several times without succes, but i'll try to first download the installationfile to the computer and then run the installation, i hope that will work.

Sorry I'm french too so my english isn't very good...
You can send Word documents from Microsoft Word...if NoteFolio is installed, it should have a new thing in the toolbar, named "TITools", then, when you click on it, you'll see "TI NoteFolio (TM) creator" and many options...choose "Send To Device" to send your Word document to your TI
That's all...hope you have understood me

Hey Guys,

I just called TI in the U.S.A.
They sent me a fix for that bug, so I want to share it with you.
Here is the patch: http://www.a22.be/TI-NoteFolio_fix.zip

So simply first install TI NoteFolio, than install the patch in that ZIP file and it will work perfectly.
